Obituary of David Stankiewicz

Weston, Conn.
David Stankiewicz, a senior in Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences and a former standout in cross country and track and field for Weston High School, died on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was 21.
Stankiewicz, a Weston graduate in 2013, competed for the Orange's men's track and field team in 2013-2014 and was an All-State and All New England runner for the Trojans during his high school tenure.
He was a multiple time SWC and Class M champion and helped Weston's 4x800m relay team to a third-place finish in the New England Championships in 2010.
His burial here at Willowbrook Cemetery will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at approximately 12:30PM, following his 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi in Weston. Harding Funeral Home, Westport is directing arrangements.
