Obituary of Theresa S. Kelso

SHELTON, CONN Theresa S. Kelso (Terri), age 95, of Shelton, Connecticut (formerly of Easton, CT) died on February 11, 2026, in her home surrounded by the family and things that she loved. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, A. Donald Kelso, Jr. (Don). Theresa was born in White Plains, NY and raised in Taunton, MA. She was a graduate of Bryant College, Smithfield, R.I. and spent several years as a freelance accountant and administrative assistant working primarily with local businesses and real estate agencies. Her great love, however, was her family. A wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, she was also an avid gardener and reader, and she loved the beach. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Karen Kelso (Fairfield, CT) and Anne Gubitosi (Alan) of Bradley Beach, NJ; her loving grandsons, Nicholas Gubitosi (Emily) and Zack Gubotosi (Danielle) and step-grandsons, Lou Gubitosi (Jaime) and Matt Gubitosi (Nicole) and 12 great-grandchildren who brought great joy to her life. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on February 28th at 10AM at Saint Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa’s name to the American Cancer Society. Private entombment will be in Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport, CT. The Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
