Obituary of Hedy Bogdansky

SHELTON, CONN

Hedy Bogdansky, age 94 of Shelton, and formerly of Westport, entered into her eternal rest on Monday November 19, 2018 in the Bishop Wicke Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Bogdansky was born in Germany on August 8, 1924 daughter of the late Ludwig and Maria Wolter and came to this country when she was 22 living in Westport for most of her life. 

She was the Cafeteria Manager for the Westport Board of Education for over 32 years most of which where spent in the Bedford Elementary School. She enjoyed cooking baking, knitting , going to the Casino, making ceramics, and was an avid bowler.

Mrs. Bogdansky was predeceased by her both of her devoted husbands Vincent Bogdansky, and John Bonatany.
She is the beloved mother of Vincent Bogdansky, and his wife Antoinette, Christel LaFrancois,and Kathy Taverny and her husband Joseph. She also leaves 7 loving grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Besides her husbands she is also predeceased by her son-in-law Michael LaFrancois, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Her services are private and have been entrusted to the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. At the request of her family memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Wicke Health and Rehabilitation Center 584 Long Hill Ave. Shelton, CT 06484. 

A private burial was held here at Willowbrook Cemetery in the family plot.
