Please share a memory of Wabbs to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
BRIDGEPORT, CONN Wabbs Theodore, age 44, of Bridgeport, Connecticut entered eternal rest on May 28, 2021 at Bridgeport, Connecticut. On January 13, 1977 Wabbs was welcomed into the world by his beloved parents Guy Theodore and Suze Jean-Baptiste. Wabbs was the most caring person and provider to so many. His love for people and family was unmatched. His laugh filled the room and was contagious to anyone who was blessed enough to experience it. In Wabbs’ formative years, he attended St. Joseph Elementary School. He would later go onto Roton Middle School. While attending Norwalk High School Wabbs made lifelong friends. Wabbs was a well traveled family man and during the course of his life he traveled over sixteen different countries, some of them twice. He loved his siblings and he made it his duty to make certain that his beloved siblings Joane and Tommy were safe and taken care of. Life of course took them all on different paths and journeys but he was just a phone call away, ready to ride for them. He not only served as a big brother but a father figure. His loving relationship with his mother and maternal grandmother (Rosita Jean- Baptiste) was unwavering. He always remembered birthdays and Mothers Day, as he never forgot to call his beloved Aunt Violette and God Mother. As unfortunate life events would happen, Wabb’s heart would always long to be closer to his mother and maternal grandmother, so he made his home in Norwalk, CT with them. Throughout his life, Wabbs faced many challenges head on. He never denied himself the opportunity to go after what he believed in and most importantly, he never gave up. Wabbs path led him to be blessed with three children. He was married and served as a loving and deeply devoted father and stepfather. Wabbs was a man that people gravitated towards naturally and with ease. Anyone who was lucky enough to have known him can attest to his love of life and his very distinct laugh. That laugh could be heard as he worked alongside his co workers as they worked and in the LA Fitness Gym that he woke up faithfully at 5am daily to work towards keeping fit. He often spoke about being an entrepreneur with his partner Hannah and he achieved that goal by attaining his barbers licence and launching his very own private barbering studio in Bridgeport. His clientele adored him as the business began to take root and grow. He was a man of many talents and as life threw him punches, no matter the shape or form, he hit back. His life was on an incline and rising, he had grown past things and events meant to destroy him. He left behind anything and anyone that got in the way of his personal growth. Although short, Wabbs lived a life that one could have been almost envious of. He may have had regrets as we all will one day, but he learned from them all and allowed those same situations to transform him into the man, son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, partner and friend that we will miss forever. Wabbs is preceded in death by his mother, Suze Jean- Baptiste, his grandmother Rosita Jean- Baptiste, his uncles Andre Jean Baptiste, Renel- Jean Baptiste Pierre Jean- Baptiste. He is survived by his children , Quinn, Nassim, Nasir, Jonathan , Claudia Russell, Izaiah and Colby, father Guy Theodore, sister Joanne Theodore Maurice ,brother Tommy Theodore, partner Hannah Hanshaw, aunts Violette Maurice, Nola Jean Baptiste Evelyne Jean Baptiste, Nicole Raymond , uncles Reynold Maurice, Eventz Theodore, Blaise Raymond, nieces and nephew, Ameer, Barrack, Nisa, Sabrina and cousins Alexander Jean- Baptiste, Ronald Jean- Baptiste, Majorie Jean Baptiste ,Gregory Jean - Baptiste, Geraldine Maurice, Rosita Maurice , Bob Jean- Baptiste, Lesly Saintval, Sabrina Francios, Andrew Raymond and host of friends and extended family.
