Merritt A. Matthews, 94, of Florida, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at a local hospital.
Born on November 29, 1922, Merritt was the son of the late William and Idell (Merritt) Matthews.
He served our country in the United States Army and was married to the late Emma A. Matthews.
All services were held privately, at the convenience of the family.
The Spear-Miller Funeral Home of Fairfield was entrusted with the local arrangements.
