Obituary of James William Wilson

NORWALK/STAMFORD, CT

James William Wilson was born to James Wilson and Pauline Ada Wilson in Portchester, NY on November 8, 1917. His journey on earth ended on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

He served honorably in the US Army and was a US Postal employee for over 22 years in the Norwalk area.

Mr. Wilson was predeceased by his wife Claudine Wilson and daughter Rev. Diane C. Wilson.

He is survived by his son, Darryl J. Griffin (Denise); granddaughters: Seturah W. Foxx (Johnny) and Rev. Sonja McClain (Kendon), eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.

A service of celebration will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 17 West Ave., Norwalk, CT, with Rev. Dr. Lindsay Curtis officiating.

Entombment will follow here at Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport.
