ORADELL, NJ

Miss Patricia A. Decker, 75, of Oradell, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, the late Harold and Frances (Germaine) Decker.

Patricia was born on August 15, 1942 in Teaneck, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Bergen County. She also spent the past 45 years hosting her family and friends at her beach house in Lanoka Harbor, NJ. After graduating from Elizabeth General Nursing School in 1960, she worked for Dr. Joseph Butenas in Elizabeth, NJ for over 30 years. 

Survivors include her sister: Donna Couzens and her husband Matthew of Ellington, CT; niece Kathryn Wakefield and her husband Ronald of Southington, CT; and nephew Matthew C. Couzens Jr. of Ellington, CT. She was loved and cherished by her four great nieces and nephews: Benjamin Wakefield, Julia Wakefield, Brendan Couzens and Elisabeth Couzens.

The family will receive friends in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport, CT on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am. Interment will follow in Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main Street Westport, CT immediately following. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of New York.
