Financial Benefits of Pre-Planning Your Cemetery Plot

Many people are now pre-planning their funeral service. It gives them the flexibility to choose the types of services they want and can plan everything down to the last detail. At Willowbrook Cemetery, we offer these services. We have seen that people are now becoming more open to the idea of pre-planning and paying for the entire service.

They decide what casket they want and how the actual ceremony should be held and more. They also determine how much they want to spend and discuss their requirements with our funeral director so they can get a customized plan that fits their budget.

How Preplanning Your Cemetery Plot Is Cost-Effective

One important aspect of a funeral is selecting the cemetery plot and this is also something that people pay for when they pre-plan. Here we look at the financial benefits of pre-planning your cemetery plot:

  • Like all the other services that you opt for when you pre-plan, you also pay for the cemetery plot when you sign the contract with the funeral home.  Cemetery plots can be expensive and when you book and pay for it that price gets locked in. No matter how much the cost of the plots in the cemetery increase, neither you nor your family members would have to pay those higher prices.

  • Most funeral homes also allow for more flexible payment options and that means you do not have to pay the entire cost of the plot upfront. You can pay in installments, which takes the financial burden off your shoulders. On the other hand, if you have not pre-planned and paid for the cemetery plot in advance, your family would have to make arrangements and pay the entire amount at one shot.

If you want to know more or need to book a service, just give us at Willowbrook Cemetery a call on (203) 222 8646 or contact us through our online form.
