Obituary of Patricia Bunting Finman

WATERBURY, CONN.

Patricia Bunting Finman, 74, passed away Wednesday November 30, 2016. She was born in 1942 to the late William M. Bunting and Barbara Bunting Burr of Norwalk.


A lifelong Connecticut resident, Ms. Finman graduated from the Norwalk High School in 1961. She attended Tarkio College. In 1963 she married Ronald H. Finman. At stay-at-home mom for many years, Pat returned to school and completed her certification in dietary management. She worked as Food Service Director at Mediplex of Westport (now Westport Healthcare) for 15+ years.

Pat loved life. She was bright, gregarious, rebellious and fun. She enjoyed jazz, sports and animals.

Ms. Finman is survived by her daughter Tracy Vaituzis, Darrell Finman, son-in-law Michael Romano, grandchildren Aja Finman, Kyle Vaituzis, Kyra Vaituzis, Tyler Romano and Makayla Romano, 4 great-grandchildren and sisters Pamela Bunting and Willow Landon. Pat's daughter Deidre Romano predeceased her in June of this year.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 15, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Oronoque Village North Community Building, Stratford, CT.

She was laid to rest here at Willowbrook Cemetery on July 18, 2018 in a private ceremony.
