Obituary of Geraldine M. Martin

BRONX, NY Geraldine Marie Martin age 91 transitioned this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in New York. She was born in Norwalk, Connecticut to the late William and Florence Burke. Geraldine attended the Norwalk Public school system and graduated from Norwalk High School. Geraldine later relocated to New York where she attended and graduated from the Parson School of Design. In 1957 Geraldine met Arthur H. Martin Sr. and through this union she was blessed with two sons and one daughter. Geraldine is survived by her children Arthur H. Martin Jr., Gallia S. Martin both of the Bronx, New York and Rhoades N. Martin of Atlanta, Georgia, and her husband and long life friend Arthur H. Martin Sr. One grandson Alexander L. Martin the pride and joy of her heart. A Celebration of Ms. Martin's life will be held at a later date. Due to current CDC Federal guidelines in keeping with public safety standards, the family is holding a private interment here at Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main Street, Westport. The Baker-Issac Funeral Home is directing the arrangements.
