Obituary of Mark R. Suda

NORWALK, CONN Mark R. Suda, Sr., age 69 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. He was the loving husband of Patricia “Patti” Rogers Suda for 49 years. Mark was born in Norwalk on November 18, 1950, the son of the late Frank and Ethel “Etta” Suda. He was raised in Westport and was a graduate of Staples High School. Mark had been the service manager at Norwest Marine in Norwalk for 32 years and also helped coach Cranbury Baseball and NAA Pop Warner football. In addition to his wife Patti, Mark is survived by his sons; Mark R. Suda, Jr. and his wife Michelle, and Joseph R. Suda and his wife Amy, his sisters Carol Bok and Sherry Salvati, his loving grandchildren Skyler, Madyson, Samantha and Joseph Jr., 6 brothers-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. A memorial celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a date and place to be announced. Interment will be held privately at Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport. The Magner Funeral Home of Norwalk is directing the arrangements.
