FT. WASHINGTON, MD John Wesley Keller, age 59, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 10, 2021, at his home in Ft. Washington, Maryland. A brother—Johnny Keller and nephew—Theodore Wilson, III, predeceased him. Born August 23, 1962 in Santee, South Carolina, John was the son of James Keller and Willie Mae Keller of Norwalk, Connecticut. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School Class of 1980, where he was well known as “Super John” for his performance on the basketball court. He grew up loving basketball. John also attended Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio for a short time. John had a charming smile that would light up any room as his personality was contagious. While residing in Norwalk, Connecticut, John was employed at Pepperidge Farms. John was recently employed at Ricoh, Washington, DC as a mail clerk. John loved and enjoyed his family and friends, especially his mom’s cooking. In addition to his parents—John and Willie Mae Keller, those left to cherish his memory: sister—Jannett Keller; two brothers—Cleveland (Cloverly) Keller and Steven Keller, all of Norwalk, Connecticut; nephew—Leon Nytrell Keller of Norwalk, Connecticut; great nephew—Jamari Wilson of Stamford, Connecticut; several aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM, Bethel AME Church Norwalk, 19 Academey Street, Norwalk, CT. Interment will take place at Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main Street, Westport, CT 06880. The Baker Funeral Home of Norwalk is directing arrangements.
