Mrs. Hagans was my Music teacher at Dolan Junior High, Stamford, in 1967, and chorus leader through 1970. I have thought about her periodically through the years; her sweetness, kindness, and enthusiasm for the subject she taught. I still remember the lyrics of many of the songs we sang.
I don't know why I was moved today to look her up. I shed a tear to learn she was gone to Heaven, but she was apparently rewarded with many beloved years.
Her immortality will be imbodied in those she taught and the love she gave to all, who will pass on those attributes from generation to generation.
