Obituary of Christine D. Georgopulo

GREENWICH, CONN Our beloved Christine "Chris" passed peacefully at her home and has joined her mother, Margaret and father, George in Heaven. Chris was a force of life and memorable to anyone she met. She was a proud graduate of NYU, a successful Real Estate Broker and Entrepreneur. Chris accomplished so much professionally, but what she will be remembered for by all is her heart. She truly enjoyed helping others and making people smile. She purchased Arthur Murray of Greenwich, to bring people together with her passion for dance and help improve their lives. She was a Board Member of many non-profits and consistently put others before herself. Her contagious laugh, humor and passion for the finer things will be deeply missed. Christine's memory will live on, by the many family members and friends she is survived by. A funeral service will be held at 11am on March 12th at St. Mary's Church in Greenwich, CT. Entombment will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 12:00PM in Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation to the Breast Cancer Alliance of Greenwich be made in Christine's name.
