WESTON, CONN Michelle Tiganila, 67, of Weston passed away on Sunday May 26 as the result of an automobile accident. Michelle was born on October 20, 1956 and is the loving mother of Alexis Noel Tiganila. Michelle was a supernatural force, her energy and charisma captivating everyone around her. Born and raised in Bucharest, she embraced a new chapter when she immigrated to the United States in 1984. Her magnetism knew no bounds, extending effortlessly to family, friends, and even strangers, who never forgot her name. From her early days in cosmetics to her later success in the eyewear industry, Michelle's professional journey was nothing short of remarkable. She was instrumental in launching renowned brands like Tom Ford and Dolce & Gabbana eyewear before establishing her own company in New York City in 2010. In her free time, she cherished moments with loved ones, relishing in laughter-filled card games that stretched long into the night. Her most cherished accomplishment? Her daughter, Alexis Noel Tiganila, whom she lovingly described as the greatest joy of her life. As she embarks on her cosmic voyage, accompanied by her beloved Max, Michelle leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and inspiration.
