Please share a memory of Steven to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
NORWALK, CONN Steven James Weinstein, a life-long resident of Weston and Norwalk, Connecticut, died on November 1, 2024 at the age of 58. Steven was born at Norwalk Hospital on January 24, 1966 to Joan and Bob Weinstein. He graduated from Weston High School in 1984, and worked for the family business, Charles Weinstein Coat Company, for a time before starting his own lawn care company. Steven was an avid coin and stamp collector and loved to ski. He also enjoyed working with his hands, creating beautiful wood sculptures out of tree trunks. While Steven struggled with mental illness his entire adult life, he will be remembered for always trying to look on the bright side of life. He was proud of being independent and self-sufficient, and of the various interests that he pursued whole-heartedly. He also always looked forward to celebrating birthdays and holidays with family. Steven is survived by his sisters, Karen Weinstein-Limone and Lisa Weinstein, his niece and nephew, Ashley and Grant Limone, and his brother-in-law, Patrick Limone. Interment will be held privately in Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main Street, Westport. The Abraham Green and Son Funeral Home of Fairfield is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Steven's memory.
