Daniel R. Baker, 58, formerly of Newtown, passed away on Friday, December 13, in Florida.
Dan was born in Norwalk Hospital on November 2, 1966, the son of Richard and Louise Baker of Newtown.
He was a member of Newtown High School’s Class of 1984. He also graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Dan was one of four directors of the Professional Golfers Association in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
He is survived by his mother; his sister, Diane; and his niece, Rebekah.
Dan was predeceased by his father.
Burial will be at the discretion of the family.
